# NumberIntel

> Pay-per-call APIs for AI agents on x402 (USDC, Base mainnet, eip155:8453). No API keys, no signup: request an endpoint, receive an HTTP 402 quote, pay cents in USDC, retry with the payment signature, get JSON. Two product lines: US phone-number intelligence (carrier, line type, list scrubbing), and signed settlement attestation of other x402 services.

## Phone numbers
- GET https://numberintel.dev/v1/carrier?number=%2B16022966261 ($0.02): carrier of record, line type (mobile/landline/voip/pager), whether the number can be in service at all, rate center, risk hints. US + territories.
- POST https://numberintel.dev/v1/batch {"numbers":["+16022966261","..."]} ($0.50, up to 100 numbers): scrub a contact list before calling or texting; per-number line type, SMS likelihood, in-service possibility, carrier, timezone, plus summary counts.
- GET https://numberintel.dev/v1/number?number=%2B16022966261 ($0.02): everything above for one number plus E.164 normalization, validity, timezones and current local time.
- GET https://numberintel.dev/v1/npa?npa=480 ($0.02): area-code region/state/timezones/local-time/toll-free flags.
Carrier data is block-level (NANPA public numbering data, refreshed weekly): ported numbers keep their original carrier.

## x402 trust tooling
- GET https://numberintel.dev/v1/attest/preflight?target=https://... ($0.02): x402 conformance lint of any endpoint's 402 (no purchase)
- POST https://numberintel.dev/v1/attest {"target":"https://...","max_spend_usd":0.1} ($0.25): we make a REAL purchase from the target with our wallet, grade the delivery against its advertised schema, and return an EIP-191-signed attestation embedding the on-chain USDC receipt. Verify free at POST /v1/attest/verify.

- GET https://numberintel.dev/v1/shop-check?url=https://numberintel.dev ($1.00): audit any x402 shop the way raters, crawlers and the CDP Bazaar see it (plain-GET probes, 402 envelopes, sample inputs, discovery files, Bazaar freshness), with a fix for every finding. Read-only.
- GET https://numberintel.dev/v1/trust?phone=%2B16022966261&email=support@github.com&website=https://github.com ($1.00): one trust verdict for a contact: dead or VoIP numbers, throwaway or mail-less emails, brand-new or parked domains, mismatches.
- GET https://numberintel.dev/v1/email-grade?domain=github.com ($1.00): email security grade A-F (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, certificate) with fixes.
- POST https://numberintel.dev/v1/text-check ($1.00): business texting (10DLC/toll-free) registration pre-check. Body: {"brand_name","use_case","sample_messages":[...],"opt_in_description","website","privacy_policy_url"}. Returns likely rejection reasons, fixes and compliant opt-in wording.
A check that fails mid-way is not charged.
